Clear Bag Recycling

Clear bags are issued to Ceredigion residents by the County Council. The bags are collected along with the normal weekly refuse collection. They are then transported to LAS Recycling transfer station and sorted. The recyclable material is recovered using the MRF. This enables the residents of Ceredigion to recycle various household wastes easily and efficiently.

Accepted materials in Clear bags are:

• Paper - All types including envelopes, magazines, directories and junk mail.
• Cardboard - Cartons, boxes and packets.
• Plastics - Bottles, bags, yogurt pots, cling film and ice cream tubs.
• Clean Cans - Food tins, drinks cans, aerosols and aluminium foil.
