Civic Amentiy (CA) Site

The Civic Amenity Site, located in Lampeter, provides a tipping service for Ceredigion residents. The service is free of charge. The site is manned by bilingual operators who will be happy to provide assistance.

The site accepts the following materials from householders:

• Plastic
• Cardboard/paper
• Newspapers
• Metals
• Cans (Steel and Aluminium)
• Glass
• Cable
• Batteries
• Inert Waste
• Timber
• WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment)
• Paints

The site will accept one fridge/freezer per resident.

To prevent residents with commercial waste taking advantage of this service, the following rules have been introduced:

• No Trade Waste
• No Commercial Vehicles
• No Trailers Larger Than One Axle
• No Horseboxes
• No Vans

To dispose of commercial waste please report to the weighbridge at the Lampeter Transfer Station, or Contact Us prior to visiting.

CA Site Opening Hours:

• Monday to Friday 9.00 am to 5.00 pm
• Saturday 10.00 am to 3.00 pm
• Sunday 10.00 am to 3.00 pm
